"AA translation" command

The window "AA translation" serves to translation nucleotide sequence in aminoacid sequence. In heading after a mark "#" the dropping down list serves to a choice of a entering sequence is located.
  • The dropping down list "translation table number" serves for a choice of the table of a genetic code (translation table).
  • The dropping down list "chain" serves for a choice of a direction of translation:
    • (+/-) - in a direct and reverse chains.
    • (+) - in a direct chain.
    • (-) - in a reverse chain.
  • The dropping down list "frame" serves for a choice of a used framework of reading:
    • All 3 frames - translation in all three frameworks.
    • Frame 0 - translation in a zero framework (with 1 nucleotide).
    • Frame 1 - translation in the first framework (with 2 nucleotide).
    • Frame 2 - translation in the second framework (with 3 nucleotide).
  • The panel "orf" serves for a choice of result of translation:
    • full translation - *translation of complete nucleotide sequences. As a result of performance of a command ("show output") translation in all given frameworks and chains will be received.
    • longest frame - *to give out the longest aminoacid sequence which is ends by stop-codon**. As a result of performance of a command ("show output") the found sequence and full translation in a framework (and chain) for which sequence is found will be received.
    • longest frame start with ATG - * to give out the longest aminoacid sequence which begins with ATG ** and it is ends by stop-codon**. As a result of performance of a command ("show output") the found sequence and full translation in a framework (and chain) for which sequence is found will be received.
*Translation and search after translation is conducted only in the given chains and frameworks. For example, if the direction of a chain (+/-) and translation in the first framework is chosen, translation and search after translation will be made only for the first framework in (+) and (-) chains.
    ** in nucleotide sequence.
  • The field "Command summary" displays the current adjustments of a command (the chosen parameters). The given field is only information and does not serve for adjustment of parameters of command.
