"New feature" dialog
The dialog allows to create new feature and can be called out by:
- The "Feature>New feature" command from the main menu.
- The New feature command from feature level pop-up menu.
In the dialog the following items can be specified:

The "Label" field contains the commentary to feature.
The label is added to a feature name in the list and replaces
the feature type name in the pop-up hint on the map.

The "Type" field contains the layout type. The "Change" button calls out
the "Feature type" dialog that allows to choose the type of feature.

The "Ranges" field allows to set the range of feature.

The "Add" button calls out the "New feature range" dialog for setting up the
new range coordinates. New range will be added in the "Ranges" field.

The "Edit" button calls out the "Edit feature range" dialog for changing
the selected range coordinates.

The "Delete" button is used to delete selected range.

The "Contained features" field contains the list of subfeatures that are contained in
current general feature (e.g. CDS in operon).

The "Hyperlink" field contains the link to approptiate web resource.

The "Overwrite color" checkbox. If the box is checked in, the color of feature
will correspond to that in list near the box; otherwise the color will be the same as
that selected in the "Options" dialog at the "Features types" tab.

The "Show shading" checkbox regulates the shadow dropping on the feature image.

The "Overwrite decoration" checkbox. If the box is checked in, the shape
of feature will correspond to that in list near the box; otherwise the shape will be the same
as that selected in the "Options" dialog at the "Features types" tab.

The "Opacity"
option allows to set the image transparency grade.

The "Proportion of thickness"
option allows to choose the feature height.

The "Shift adjustment"
option allows to choose the
shift of the image regarding a horizontal axis of layer.
The new feature will be added at the end of the list of features in a layer node.
